Today rocked like omfg!
Well, the highlight was the performance! :D AND 102 WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE!! :D
OMGOMGOMG WE ROCK.
Okay anyway let's start from the very beginning. Hmm we were chosen to represent the class and perform on stage for the March Holidays assignment, which was to act out a scene from a story book and so we did George's Marvellous Medicine weeho!
&& I think our props were like, the best? And therefore our scene was like the most uh, real-life one? Though the audience commented that some of the voices were muffled T.T ahh... Hmm, and it was my idea to ask the class to cheer when the emcee calls out the class name, wahaha. I guess that should show the judges the erm, unity? And how supportive the class was (but apparently they REALLY WERE supportive). LOLs.
Then cos it was class by class respectively so we were the second class. And before we saw everyone else's performance we were like so damned confident that we would win the championship. But after we saw how their others' performance rocked we were like "Aww mannnn....". Shit. And to top it all, one of my group members actually forgotten some of his lines. ><>
Then came the prize presentation ceremony. Consolation prizes 3 of them. Then third I don't know what class but I screamed damned loud (but not as loud as the guys) when I heard it wasn't my class. And the teacher announced, "So the first and second place....it's left with 102 and 105!" OMGOMGOMG. 105's rocked also...and my heart's like, palpitating so damned wildly. Zhe Ching, Eileen and all the others' faces were like, OMG...IT'S GOTTA US!
So when the teacher announced the second place... "105!" WE WERE SCREAMING LIKE CRAZYY!! OMG! I screamed till I went slightly hoarse, I think. Haha. So yeah I went up to collect the prizes! And we had to share with the guys, who helped with the party poppers (And i guess that increased the scores) for special effects. YAY! :D Ineffable jubilance!
Uh-huh, wanted to celebrate today but it was raining and my shoes were SOAKED. omg. So I had to go home and cancel the celebration. But tomorrow Jia Qi's treating anyway! :D
Muahahaha.
So at the end of the day, it was still all worth the sacrifice because yeah, I swear we really put in alot of effort into this thingum. Like staying back to near evening for so many days, rehearsing and rehearsing, making the props...etc.
AND THE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE! :D
